This book is entirely devoted to breton proverbs. It is an anthology of the sayings, maxims and proverbs of wich the people of Brittany, wether the fisherman from coastal Armor or the farmer from inland Argoat, used to be so fond. A number of these proverbs have become popular thanks to their virtually word-for-word translation into french. We have nevertheless decided to leave you the breton version so that everyone can discover the unique poetry and musicality of this beautiful language.
